GGAM IBT Bussing will not be operating in September 2024

Dear GGAM Families,

We received notice that the Peel District School Board (PDSB) will be providing fully funded school bus service starting in September 2024 for students in elementary Regional Programs.

As a result of this change, GGAM IBT Bussing Committee (GGAM) will not be operating for the 2024-2025 school year. Full refunds will be issued to families that have sent payments, pending Interac e-transfers will be declined, and cheques will not be cashed and destroyed or returned. We will be contacting families regarding refunds soon.

For over 22 years, GGAM’s mission has been to provide safe, reliable and economical school bus transportation for IBT program students, and we applaud the decision by PDSB to restore fully funded regional program bus service. 

All GGAM operations will cease after the school year and the Committee will be wound down over the next few months. All of us at GGAM would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, families, students and school staff that have made GGAM successful over the years – we couldn’t have done this without their efforts and support. 

We have been informed that full details about bussing will be shared with families in the coming days.
